When we began operations the rations developed by Compleat Feeds were developed and formulated for our own performance horses. And because it was for our own horses, cost wasn’t a consideration as we wanted to use only the very best available products in the formulas and as you know, quality costs money.
The major reason we developed our own rations was because there was nothing available in the marketplace that was of any reasonable standard that provided horses with a quality balanced ration that actually suited their digestive system rather than being formulated at a dollar value by using poorer quality products.
We felt that feeding horses with well formulated and balanced rations it would provide them with maximum nutrient intake for them to maintain or gain weight, provide them with optimum health and performance levels and so they gleamed with inner health.
It has been proved that the entire range of rations are extremely economical to feed because of the high quality products used so that it only needs low intake levels to be successful.
The range of rations are designed to suit various classes of horses, their performance levels and most importantly, their digestive systems.
All the rations were initially formulated and developed exclusively for and have been used on our own horses for many years with outstanding results and success.
There was nothing available in the marketplace that I was inclined to want to feed to my own horses despite having trialed quite a few, (and there were others that we simply refused to even trial).
